For the latest Apple Stock News, AAPL closed at $111.73 on Monday, November 21st, with a 1.52% gain, or $1.67 from its previous close of $110.04 per share.
Next year, Apple plans on releasing a new OLED iPhone, which will feature either a 5.1-inch or a 5.2-inch screen size. The new phone will be released with the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus that will remain with the 4.7 and 5.5 inch screens. Apple is planning to buy OLED panels from Samsung. The new OLED models will have better specs, making it the most high-end model to date.
As for the iPhone 8/plus, the major change will be that the phone will no longer be in a metal casing but a complete glass casing. OLED panels, however, are hard to come by and will slow production and limit availability. The iPhone 8 Plus and the OLED iPhone 8 will also feature a dual camera system. The dual camera makes images more crisp and the camera will be able to zoom further with a continuous clear picture.
AAPL is up after hitting a slump last week where AAPL dropped to $105 per share. The sudden increase is due to anticipated holiday sales on Black Friday.
